Abstract:

Background & Aims: Antidepressants are very common therapeutic agents in medicine. Design and using new antidepressants have built a new scope for depression treatment. Bupropion is an atypical antidepressant but it is used as an anti-smoke agent widely due to its smoke cessation. Its effectiveness in producing smoking cessation seems independent of its antidepressant effects. The study of synaptic effects of bupropion can reveal its mechanism for nicotine dependence cessation. This study has tested the effects of bupropion on evoked responses of rat hippocampal slices.Materials & Methods: 16 hippocampal slices from 18-25 old age rat pops were tested. The hippocampal slices have been prepared according to standard techniques. Bupropion was perfused in ACSF (2 mmol) for 30 minutes. The amplitude of population spikes (PS) amplitude of Stratum Radiatum was measured before and after bupropion perfusion. Amplitude of PS before bupropion perfusion fitted as 100% for baseline. Results: Bupropion (2 mmol) abolished PS of all slices for different periods. PS disappeared in 37.5% of slices for 1 hour, 25% for 1.5 hour, 12.5 % for 2 hour, and 25% for 4 hour or more. Bupropion disappeared PS 5-15 minutes after perfusion. Conclusion: Bupropion abolished or decreased PS amplitude. The results have showed that bupropion can decreases LTP or synaptic plasticity and alters the synaptic behavior in drug dependence.

Abstract:

INTRODUCTIONPORTS ARE SEMI-CLOSED COASTAL MARINE AREAS CHARACTERIZED BY HIGH LEVELS OF VESSEL, URBAN AND INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITY. CONSEQUENTLY, THEY MAY BE CONSIDERED AS CONTAMINATED AREAS AND SECONDARY POLLUTING SOURCES FOR THEIR ADJACENT COASTAL AREA. CONTAMINANTS ARE ACCUMULATED IN THE WATER COLUMN AND SETTLED IN THE SEA BED SEDIMENT MATRIX. THIS MECHANISM CAN CAUSE CHRONIC POLLUTION LEVELS LEADING TO ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION WITH A WIDE RANGE OF POTENTIAL HARSH IMPACTS….

Abstract:

A geochemical evidence map is one of the most important informative layers in minerals potential mapping. In this research، In order to overcome the disadvantages of discrete evidence maps، we used the continuous fuzzy method to produce geochemical evidence maps. The Varzaghan 1: 100، 000 sheet map that is located in arasbaran metallogenic belt and hosted the Sungun porphyry-skarn copper deposit was studied. In this study، we have used 1067 stream sediment samples as primary data that was studied by Geological Survey of Iran. At first، the catchment basins for each sample have been drawn and the signature of samples have been allocated to corresponding basins. In addition، the signature elements of porphyry copper deposits like Cu، Mo، Ag، Au، As، Pb and Zn have been used to detecting the potential mineralized areas in the region. In the interest of fuzzifying the maps of each signature elements that mentioned، Large and logistic fuzzy functions have been used. Following to fuzzifying، the geometric average method has been applied and then prediction-area plots was used to validate the results. It has been shown that fuzzification by Large function is better as it can predict the 80 percent of mineral occurrences by utilizing 20 percent of the study area.

Abstract:

Recently Geochemical stream sediment sampling is one of most important method for mineral Exploration; in this matter for investigation of mineral potential in Takab area this methods are applied. After Data review and design of Sampling-Network, 112 stream samples are prepared and for chemical analysis for 31 elements by ICP-method. After chemical analysis 13 elements are selected for data interpretation and geochemical mapping. In this step, after determination of censored data and elimination of rock-Influence, overall homogen populations are obtained. To select the anomalous samples, the data is conducted by one variable statistic`X+2S, and P.N sieve methods, multiple variables.

Abstract:

Regional exploration of Kahang is located at 73 km of north east of Esfahan city and 10 km of east of Zefreh town. This deposit is located in Uromieh-Dokhtar volcanoplotonic belt. For the first time this deposit was investigated with using the satellite images processing (TM). Base on the primary study, such as field survey, geophysical study, R.S. and petrography and mineralogy investigation the region was founded suitable place for resources of Copper (Cu) and Molybdenum (Mo). Kahang region is an alteration and breccia zone. In generally, more than %99 of rocks of this region are affected by hydrothermal fluids become in the low and high alteration degrees. The rocks of the area include Andesite, porphyritic andesite, Dacite, porphyritic rhyodasite, Diorite, Quartz monzonite and porphyry micro granite. In plutons, from rim to center of massive, is a trend from basic to acid features with less age. For geochemical surveying, 174 soil samples in systematic method and 143 rock samples of the area have been collected. They are been analyzed for 45 elements using ICP - MS method in Amdel laboratory of Australia. After assurance of accuracy of the results, statistic parameters are calculated. Then correlation coefficient measures of data calculation using two and multi variables analyze methods. Thus, based on mean measures and standard deviation of normalized data of elements, anomaly of locations is distinguished and they are presented as a table. At this stage for separation and identification of important anomalies using P.N. method. For introducing of the best locations for excavation and also study of geochemical behaviors of Cu and Mo, anomalous maps of 10 elements drown include of Cu, Mo, Au, Ag, Pb, Zn, As, Sb, Mn and Ba. The anomalous maps are drown in first step based on standard normalized duet and percent measures and in the second step with threshold limits plus amounts of standard deviation. Accordingly, it is delineate that the most concentration ofhypogenous ores such as Cu and Mo in central part of area in Quartz monzonites and Diorites occurred, whereas the most concentration of supergeous ores such as Pb, Zn and Ag in the rim part of area in andesitic rocks occurred. Finally, for attainment of better results and recognition of anomalies correlated to ores, the composites haloes method is used and the map of composite haloes of supergene and hypogen ores are prepared based on standard nornlalized data. Solovov method is used for evaluation of erosion \W surface in ore area. On this base, if the amount of sum of standard normalized data of supergen ore to hypogens ratio is larger than one, we can conclude that the main ore bodies exist in the depth and it conserved from erosion processes.

Abstract:

Geochemistry of basalts were studied in three areas around Ardabil including Heyran, Razei and Saein. Heyran and Razei are upper Cretaceous - lower Tertiary submarine pillow lava and Saein is the Quaternary aerial stair step (trapp) type. Heyran and Razei basalts are primitive with subcontinental lithospheric mantle source and basalt of Saein area is transitional with deeper source. According to isotopic ratio, 87Sr/86Sr belong to OIB array and based on isotopic ratio Nd-Sr is placed in mantle array and mean while it shows high contamination with crust rocks.
